Got my first assignment.
I'm covering an ice skating competition at the Grimsby Leisure Centre on Sunday. I like ice skating but it canes me ankles cos they bend inwards (weak ankles).

I got a Babylon Zoo video tape today! All my BZ material I've recorded off the TV is on about 7 video tapes. Not handy at all! I'll be having a proper look at it and making (my!) copy late tonight.

Good news... I'm now a freelance journalist. I had a job interview today in Cleethorpes for a new local newspaper called Lifestyle and they have taken me on to write articles for them.
I've got a month to impress them and if they think I'm good enough, life will be sweet. :)
I'm so glad someone has finally given me an opportunity... that's all I wanted.

Jayne found out today that she's going to have a boy. She wanted a girl but she's not too disappointed! (Lee wanted a boy of course.) They're going to call him James Lee Evans.

PG stands for 'Parental Guidence', meaning that this film may not be suitable for small children, due to either a little violence or some mild harsh language, but nothing earth-shattering. Plots may have twists and turns, and there may even be real-life situations.

Examples: Bill & Ted, The Fifth Element

I have a preference for 18 rated films, but I'm kinda glad my life isn't one! Still, I would have liked at least a 12!

I've just realised something.
OK, my mum used to be close to the Panufnik family, who consisted of the late Andrzej (a classical composer), his wife Camilla (photographer), daughter Roxanna (also a classical composer) and son Jeremy (or Jem).
Jeremy co-founded Finger Lickin' Records, a damn good label (http://www.fingerlickin.co.uk/about.php). I knew he had a label and was a DJ and stuff but I didn't realise it was such a famous label.
I mention this now cos I'm listening to Plump DJs (one of the artists on Finger Lickin'): The Breakbeat Annual (from Mixmag).
